Ingredients

  • 9 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup double-acting baking powder
  • 1 cup powdered milk
  • 2 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 4 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Stir baking powder, dry milk, and salt into the flour.
  2. Using an electric mixer, mix shortening into the flour mixture until all the particles of shortening are thouroughly coated and the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
  3. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place. No need to refrigerate.
