Ingredients

  • use tenderized or smoked picnic ham
  • 10 c. hot water

Instructions

  1. Put ham in large roaster, adding 10 cups hot water.
  2. Put in cold oven.
  3. Turn heat to 500° and bake 30 minutes.
  4. Turn oven off for 1 hour.
  5. Turn on again for 30 minutes.
  6. Turn off and leave in oven overnight.
  7. Seal with heavy foil before baking.
