Mom'S Potato Biscuits

- Mix the potatoes, sugar, milk, egg and yeast cake together. When it has stiffened, add the shortening and salt.
- (Add flour, if needed, to stiffen; not too stiff.) Let set in warm place until double in amount.
- Work it down and make into biscuits.
- Put in pan and let raise until double in size.
- Bake at 400° for about 15 to 20 minutes.
