Ingredients

  • 2 c. warm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 6 to 8 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add shortening, sugar and egg. Dump in flour.
  3. Let rise to double size.
  4. Knead down and make into rolls.
  5. Let rise.
  6. Bake at 350° until brown, approximately 20 minutes.
