- Mix milk, sugar and salt.
- Add yeast.
- Stir in eggs and shortening.
- Add flour and knead to make soft dough.
- Let rise, then on lightly floured board, roll 1/4-inch thick.
- Cut out donuts.
- Let rise, fry and then glaze.
