Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. shortening

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
  2. Cut in shortening; stir in milk to make soft dough.
  3. Drop from spoon onto greased pan or into greased muffin cups.
  4. Bake at 300° until lightly browned.
