Nice Soft Pretzels

Ingredients

  • 3 packages yeast
  • 3 34 cups water
  • 3 pinches sugar
  • 6 teaspoons salt
  • 12 -15 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda

Instructions

  1. Knead 10 minutes.
  2. Place in greased bowl and let rise until it doubles.
  3. Make ropes 18 inches long and twist into pretzel shape.
  4. Boil: 4 cups water and 4 tsp.
  5. baking soda.
  6. Drop 3 pretzels in and boil 1 minute or until they float.
  7. Remove, drain, and place on cookie sheet.
  8. Sprinkle with coarse or pretzel salt.
  9. Bake@ 475 degrees for 12 minutes.
