Instructions
- Wash the rice in several changes of water.
- Drain.
- Place the rice in a 1-1/2 quart microwave safe dish; add the water.
- Microwave uncovered on high for 10 minutes.
- Add the cumin seeds, coriander, and salt.
- Stir well.
- Microwave uncovered on high for another 6-8 minutes, until the water has evaporated.
- Fluff with a fork.
- If desired sprinkle with chives and pepper.
