Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

Instructions

  1. combine all ingredients in a heavy pan over medium heat.till mixture reaches the soft crack stage -- 270*-289* on a candy thermometer.
  2. pour into buttered jelly roll pan --
  3. set aside to cool.
  4. cut into squares to serve.
  5. wrap in colorful waxed paper squares.
