"Old Fashioned" Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 box 10x sugar
  • 1/4 lb. softened butter
  • 1 c. grated coconut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 or 4 tsp. milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients.
  2. Mixture should be consistency of hard dough and easy to handle.
  3. Shape into pieces the size of a walnut, then lengthen the dough into the shape of an Idaho potato.
  4. Roll in cinnamon.
