Orange-Cream Dessert
Ingredients
Instructions
- Combine 1 teaspoon peel, 1/2 cup orange juice and 1/2 cup sugar.
- Heat and stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add 1 cup orange juice; cool.
- Drizzle over top, bottom and sides of cake.
- Combine whipping cream with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon orange peel. Beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold into the sour cream until blended.
- Spread evenly over top and sides of cake.
- Chill several hours.
- (Sour cream in the frosting gives an unusual tang.)
