Ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c shortening or buttermilk (if using buttermilk, use 2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda)

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients, shortening and milk.
  2. Knead through with hands.
  3. Roll out and cut with round cookie cutter or another shape of your choice.
  4. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
