Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pear pulp
  • 1 1/2 lb. sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare canning jars, rings, and new lids for preserving the jam.
  2. Combine pear pulp and sugar in a large pot.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and reaches the desired consistency.
  4. Pour hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving appropriate headspace.
  5. Seal jars with lids and rings, then process in a boiling water bath if desired for longer storage.
