Peep Bird Nest
Ingredients
- 2 bars Hershey Bars, 1.5 Ounce Bars
- 1 bag Stick Pretzels, 10 Ounce Package ⓘ
- 3 packages Marshmallow Chick Peeps (6 In A Pack)
- 1 bag (12 oz. size) Easter M&Ms
Instructions
- Melt one Hershey bar in double boiler.
- While chocolate is melting place foil cupcake wrappers in cupcake trays. (Use foil wrappers so they are easier to remove later.)
- Also while chocolate is melting break up stick pretzels and place them into cupcake wrappers - use enough to have a nice solid layer at the bottom.
- After chocolate is melted pour about two tablespoons into each cupcake wrapper. Mix the chocolate around in the cup and brush it up the sides of the wrappers.
- Place the cupcake trays into fridge so that the chocolate hardens - at least 30 minutes. Once chocolate hardens remove from fridge.
- Melt second Hershey bar in the double boiler. Dip the Peep chicks into the melted chocolate and then place into the hardened chocolate cups. DO NOT put these back in the fridge at this point or the Peeps will stiffen.
- You can use the remaining melted chocolate to place and attach the M&M's around the bird's nest. Before serving remove the foil wrapper.
