Ingredients

  • 1 cup light or dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 6 cups rice crispy cereal
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chip pieces
  • 6 oz. butterscotch morsels

Instructions

  1. Mix corn syrup and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and rice crispy cereal until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  4. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch morsels in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  5. Spread the melted chocolate and butterscotch over the cereal mixture in the pan.
  6. Allow to cool completely. Cut into 1 x 2-inch bars and serve.
