Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. biscuit mix
  • 2/3 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Stir the shortening and cheese into the biscuit mix.
  3. Add the milk.
  4. Stir together with a fork.
  5. Beat 15 strokes.
  6. Grease a cookie sheet.
  7. Drop the mix by tablespoonful onto the sheet.
  8. Put the biscuits in the oven.
  9. Remove after 12 to 15 minutes.
