Ingredients

  • 13 to 13 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. salt
  • 6 to 6 1/4 c. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Boil
  2. ingredients 15 minutes.
  3. Pack cucumbers
  4. in
  5. jars with lots of dill
  6. and
  7. 1/2
  8. teaspoon
  9. whole
  10. black pepper and garlic if you wish.
  11. Add 1 tablespoon sugar to each quart, but do not boil the sugar.
  12. Pour boiling vinegar brine over cukes. Fill to tops of
  13. jars
  14. and seal
  15. tight.
  16. Set
  17. jars in boiling water to come over the
  18. top of them.
  19. Let stand in there until cold.
