Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) sack frozen fordhook limas
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook the limas for a few minutes in the microwave.
  2. Fry the bacon; remove bacon.
  3. Saute onions and celery in bacon grease. Add the tomatoes.
  4. Add beans, bacon, sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cook down.
