Instructions
- Cut cucumbers across in round the thickness desired.
- Fill a quart jar with the cucumber slices.
- Cover cucumbers with apple vinegar and put a screw-on lid on the jar tight.
- Put aside for several or more months.
- Pour off the vinegar (the cucumbers will have shrunk to about half volume).
- Fill a jar with cucumbers, leaving an inch or so at the top.
- Cover the cucumbers with as much sugar as the jar will take.
