Pickled Bell Pepper

Ingredients

  • 3 c. water
  • garlic bulbs
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • jalapeno pepper
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Wash peppers in sudsy water until squeaky clean.
  2. Cut peppers into bite size pieces and pack in hot clean jars.
  3. Put 1 garlic bulb and 1 jalapeno pepper in each jar.
  4. Fix only 1 jar at a time. Boil the ingredients (water, salt and vinegar) to a rolling boil and pour over pepper in the jar.
  5. Seal and turn upside down in a dark place for 24 hours.
  6. Remember, fix only one jar at a time, and keep everything hot at all times.
