Ingredients

  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, chopped
  • 1 (11 oz.) can Cheddar soup
  • 1/2 can milk

Instructions

  1. Cut shortening into flour and stir in remaining ingredients. Put in one greased loaf pan.
  2. Bake one hour and 15 minutes at 350°.
  3. Let set, covered in foil or wrapped
  4. one day before cutting.
