Pineapple Glaze Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (13 or 15 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake cake in 9 x 13-inch pan as directed on the label.
  2. Bring to boil the pineapple and sugar.
  3. With point of sharp knife, mark warm cake in 1 inch squares, cutting 1/2 inch deep.
  4. Spoon hot pineapple mixture over cake.
  5. Cool.
  6. Refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Top with Cool Whip.
