Pineapple Rhubarb Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 c. diced rhubarb
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 (20 ounce.) can unsweetened crushed pineapple plus juice
  • 2 (3 ounce.) Packages strawberry Jello

Instructions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in heavy saucepan on medium heat, stirring often.
  2. Cook 8 to 10 min or possibly till rhubarb is tender.
  3. Add in gelatin, stirring till dissolved.
  4. Can quickly and process 10 min in boiling water.
  5. 3 1/2 pints.
