Pink Onions

Ingredients

  • 4 red onions, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Cover onions with boiling water.
  2. Let stand 5 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Cover again with boiling water for another 5 minutes.
  5. Drain.
  6. Combine vinegar and sugar and pour over onions.
  7. Store in jars in refrigerator.
  8. Serve cold.
