Plain Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 to 6 lb.) roast
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Pam no stick cooking spray or 1/4 to 1/2 c. cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Coat entire surface of meat in oil and brown.
  2. Roast in 300° oven for 25 to 30 minutes per pound.
  3. Salt near end of cooking time.
  4. When done, remove from pan.
