Polenta Tirolese

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons milk powder full cream
  • 1/2 chicken bouillon cube a low-salt
  • 2 tablespoons instant polenta
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 shallot small, diced
  • 3 slices smoked bacon diced

Instructions

  1. Pour milk powder into a pot, add 1 cup water; stir well. Place pot over medium heat and bring to a boil, then add crushed bouillon cube. Stream in the polenta, whisking continuously. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat and mix in Parmesan.
  2. Melt the ghee in a frying pan; add onions and bacon. Cook together until onions are gold and soft, then remove from heat. Toss onions with bacon over polenta.
