Instructions
- Wet possum and roast in hot oak ashes.
- Then remove and pick hair off possum.
- Roast in ashes again to remove excess hair and fuzz.
- Wash possum thoroughly to remove all ashes and cut it up. Place possum in boiler, large enough to hold, and cover with water.
- Add salt, black pepper and red pepper. Boil until tender.
