- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a casserole dish. Layer the potato slices and cheese in the dish, seasoning well and finishing with cheese.
- Pour over the cream. Place the dish on a baking sheet, cover loosely with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
