Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1 c. raspberry or strawberry preserves
  • 1 Tbsp. water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Melt butter and mix with dry cake mix and oats until crumbly.
  3. Press two-thirds of the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan to form an even layer.
  4. Spread raspberry or strawberry preserves over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the preserves.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before cutting into bars.
