Ingredients

  • 2 cooking apples
  • 1 (8 count) can crescent rolls
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Peel apples and cut them into quarters.
  2. Separate the crescent rolls and wrap each piece of apple in a roll, starting at the large end.
  3. In a saucepan, mix oleo, sugar, and orange juice.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Add vanilla extract to the sauce.
  6. Place the wrapped apple dumplings in an 8-inch square baking pan.
  7. Pour the sauce over the dumplings.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
