Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can cherry or apple pie filling or 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
  • walnuts or pecans, chop enough to cover lightly

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Spread pie filling in bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with cake mix and drizzle with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  5. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
  6. Makes 12 servings.
