Ingredients

  • 4 (8 oz.) cans canned (not fresh) oysters
  • 3/4 to 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 gal. milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook butter and oysters together only until good and hot and butter is melted. Add milk, salt and pepper.
  2. Heat only until good and hot. Do not boil.
