Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake
  • 1 large package frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 large Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Cut the angel food cake in half horizontally.
  2. Make a trench in the bottom half and scoop out some cake to create a cavity.
  3. Fill the trench with thawed strawberries.
  4. Combine the scooped out cake pieces, remaining strawberries, and a little Cool Whip in a bowl and mix well.
  5. Place the top half of the cake back on the filled bottom half.
  6. Fill the hole of the cake with the strawberry and Cool Whip mixture.
  7. Frost the entire cake with the remaining Cool Whip.
  8. Decorate with whole strawberries on top.
