Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted self-rising flour
  • 2/3 c. sweet milk
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place flour, sugar, shortening and 1/3 cup milk in mixer and blend.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Add 1/3 cup milk last.
  4. Bake at 375° for about 25 minutes.
  5. Yield:
  6. 12 cupcakes.
