Quickie Mochi

Ingredients

  • 1 box mochi flour
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 3 c. water

Instructions

  1. Bring water and syrup to a boil.
  2. Lower the heat and gradually pour in the mochi flour, stirring constantly.
  3. Mix hard and well. Mixture will harden rapidly.
  4. Form into small patties.
  5. If desired an (sweet bean filling) can be filled into each patty.
  6. To add color, add a few drops of food coloring to the syrup before adding the mochi flour.
