Ingredients
Instructions
- Cover rabbit with water.
- Cook until tender, then remove from broth.
- Cool and pick meat off bones.
- Add meat back to broth in Dutch oven.
- Bring to a boil, add sage and onion (to taste) along with salt and pepper.
- Slowly add cornmeal to boiling broth until broth thickens up.
- (Do not completely cook in Dutch oven, just thicken.)
- Kind of like wet cornbread dressing.
- Pour in greased loaf pans.
- Chill.
- Slice and fry in small amount of cooking oil.
