Ingredients

  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • salt
  • 2 heaping tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Bring 3 cups milk and sugar to a boil.
  2. Mix together the egg yolks, salt, cornstarch and 1 cup milk; add to hot mixture, cooking and stirring until thick.
  3. Cool.
  4. Add the vanilla.
  5. Put into large casserole.
