Red Onion Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 large red onions
  • 4 firm tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of black ground pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Instructions

  1. Slice onions; soak in cold water for about 20 minutes.
  2. Drain off water; put in salad bowl with cut tomato wedges.
  3. Toss with remaining ingredients.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil.
