Roasted Garlic Cloves

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 2 or 3 sprigs thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°.
  2. Break garlic head into cloves.
  3. Leave the inner skins on the cloves.
  4. Put garlic in small ovenproof dish and add the olive oil, thyme and bay leaf.
  5. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
