Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh rose petals

Instructions

  1. Bring honey to a boil in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Do not allow the honey to boil over.
  3. Turn off the heat as soon as the honey starts to foam.
  4. Stir in the fresh rose petals.
  5. Let the mixture sit for 4 hours.
  6. Bring the honey back to a boil.
  7. Turn off the heat.
  8. Cool the honey in the pan.
  9. Pour the honey through a strainer after it has cooled.
  10. Discard the rose petals.
  11. Store the strained honey in a covered jar.
