Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
- Add yeast mixture to all other ingredients and make softer than bread dough.
- Let rise until doubled in bulk.
- Punch down. For best results, let rise second time until doubled in bulk. Grease hand with oleo.
- Take small pieces of dough and shape into balls.
- Place 1 1/2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
- Flatten down with hand.
- Let rise for 45 minutes.
- Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
