Sarge'S Kale

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 bunches kale
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 to 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water

Instructions

  1. Strip and clean kale.
  2. Steam until very tender.
  3. In saucepan saute onion and garlic in olive oil.
  4. Add tomato sauce and water. (Can add a little red wine.)
  5. Simmer about 10 minutes.
  6. Add kale; simmer a little longer.
