Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch. With a hand mixer, beat in milk and egg yolks until smooth. Microwave on Medium for 5 minutes.
  2. Beat well with mixer. Microwave on High for 2 minutes; stir.
  3. Blend in butter and vanilla.
  4. Pour into serving dishes; cool.
  5. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
