Instructions
- Fill a pot halfway with beer, water and sliced onion.
- Bring to a boil.
- Plunge in sausages and simmer 20 minutes.
- If any sausages rise to surface while simmering, prick with a sharp knife.
- As sausages simmer, melt butter in skillet and saute diced onions until golden brown.
- Set aside.
- Remove sausages from water and cook on grill until crusty brown.
- Serve with sauteed onions.
