Ingredients

  • 8 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream butter 3-5 min until fluffy.
  2. add sugar and beat 2 min.
  3. add vanilla.
  4. add flour and salt and combine on low speed.
  5. chill 60 min.
  6. roll out to 1/4 " thickness and cut into stars.
  7. bake at 325 for 18-20 min.
  8. once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
