Ingredients

  • 4 small packages jello (lime, orange, lemon, cherry)
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 envelopes Knox gelatine
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Prepare each jello layer by dissolving one small package of jello in 1 cup boiling water, then adding 1/2 cup cold water, and chilling until partially set.
  2. Repeat the process for lime, orange, lemon, and cherry jello layers, allowing each to set slightly before adding the next.
  3. Once all jello layers are set, mix sour cream with sugar and vanilla.
  4. Dissolve Knox gelatine in a small amount of hot water as directed and add to the sour cream mixture.
  5. Combine milk with the sour cream mixture and gelatine, then pour over the layered jello in a mold.
  6. Refrigerate until fully set before serving.
