- Spray a frying pan with Pam.
- Fry onion and garlic in pan until brown (3-5 minutes).
- Add the tomatoes, jalapeno, cilantro, and spices.
- Let simmer for 20-25 minutes, then put in a blender and blend (exercise caution when blending hot salsa; if you have it, use an immersion blender).
- Serve with tortilla chips!
