Sliced Cabbage Kimchi

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. nappa cabbage, cut in 3 inch lengths
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/3 c. salt

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the salt in lukewarm water and sprinkle over cabbage.
  2. Cover and let stand for 7 hours.
  3. Rinse the cabbage 3 times in cold water and let drain in a colander.
