- Slice strawberries in halves lengthwise.
- Measure sugar and prepared fruit into a large saucepan, packing fruit into the cup when measuring; mix well.
- Bring to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil hard for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in pectin.
- Stir and skim by turns for 5 minutes to cool slightly and prevent floating fruits.
- Pour quickly into clean, sterilized jars.
- Cover immediately.
