Instructions
- Fry bacon until brown.
- Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender.
- Combine with peas and water.
- Add salt, garlic and pepper.
- Bring to boil and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
- Stir in uncooked rice and simmer 30 minutes longer or until rice is tender and fluffy.
- Serves 8.
